My 18-year architectural career reflects my passion and commitment to sustainable building design and stewardship of our natural environment. I am the founder of EcoVision Green Solutions Services LLC, a sustainable design and research consulting firm.
I am an expert in energy efficient, durable and sustainable design solutions and the financial impacts of building green. I am also a talented and visionary speaker and educator. My expertise is grounded in a knowledge of how buildings work and perform over time (building science) and building materials, both key components to a well-built and sustainable building, and passive and active sustainable design strategies.
I am also a 2008 Fellow with GreenFaith, an interfaith organization with the mission to inspire, educate and mobilize people of all faiths and backgrounds to deepen the relationship with the sacred in nature and to take action for the earth. The Fellowship itself will end in early 2009, but each Fellow must also develop an ongoing educational program. I will be developing an intensive conference on sustainable building and stewardship, to be held in 2010.
Visionary Goals: to change the way we build, to make green make sense, to reduce the direct impact buildings have on CO2 emissions.
