I'd wish to join my fellow consultants. I'm largely a development planner (R&D) in the practical field. Among my experiences were the inclusion of the forest/eco-park of the Sta Ana Industrial Estate in North Philippines c. 82-83 planning sessions (this is today's 54,000 Cagayan freeport, with large eco-park & eco-tour facilities), the tight regulation of new residential estates to implement 30% parks-n-open spaces policy (law) in early 80s, the planning of an "integrated agro-ecotourism for Laurel town in Batangas" (Luzon, Philippines), comprehensive farm systems w/ subsidized finance (for Damba Cooperative in Batangas province) on 500+ hectare site which used biodiversity principles, financing waste utilization home enterprises, to site some. I am now thinking of designing, with prospective partners, 'cities with food production', which means towns that become cities should not destroy their agriculture but sustain and even expand it using hydroponics (though area for tillage may shrink). I'm really sick and tired of towns that throw away their agro-base as soon as they citify, really sickening!... Count me in.

The need for sustainability consultants has doubled in the last year. We see enormous requests for assistance with the WRI/WBCSD GHG - Carbon foot printing work, Scope 1,2,3. What are you seeing?
